Bondo, no, hopefully. It’s better in a case like this to use some kind of high-fill primer and rely on getting things right and then sanded out properly. Bondo chips like crazy, cracks off of things that flex, and on any spots that have access to the inside of the vehicle, moisture will penetrate the Bondo and start the edges of the hole rusting again. In short, Bondo sucks ass for rust repairs like that. Trust me on this. The ideal fix material is body solder because it adheres better, flexes, seals, and strengthens the underlying metal, but nobody does it anymore because you have to heat the site, get it super-clean, apply it with more skill, and so on - and it’s expensive unless you’re using lead. Which is the most old-timey way to do it but can stain paint, is hard to sand, and, well, LEAD.

Wow, respect! You are really turning this car around. when you first showed us pictures I was like “that thing is toast, let’s just wait for another sob story when he realizes he bit off more than he can chew”. But here you are actively fighting the cancer.
